REFLEXOLOGY
is the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques that do not
utilize oil, cream or lotion. Technique application is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that
reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands with a premise that such work effects a physical change to the body. This
is a practical course on how and when to employ a wide variety of reflexology techniques.
Course Content
This program will cover: Contra-indications to reflexology, the history
of reflexology, the benefits of reflexology and the classification of the different zones, movements and techniques.
But in basic terms you will learn how perform a reflexology treatment before enjoying the benefits of receiving one
in return.
What
materials are needed for this course?
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a large towel plus a notebook and pen if you wish to take
notes, although hand-outs and information sheets will be given out during the course.
What previous knowledge/experience/skills are
required?
No previous
experience is necessary for this programme and both men and women are welcome. On completion of the course
all attendees shall be given a certificate of attendance/CPD.
