This program will cover: Contra-indications to massage, the history of massage, the benefits of massage and the classification of the different massage movements/techniques.  But in basic terms you will learn how perform a full body massage and then will enjoy the benefits of receiving one in return.

SPORTS MASSAGE - Is a form of bodywork geared toward participants involved in sport or any recreational activity.  It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for physical activity and maintain it in optimal condition and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

 

This program will cover: Contra-indications to Sports Massage, the history of Sports Massage, the benefits of Sports Massage and the classification of the different Sports Massage techniques. But in basic terms you will learn how perform both a local and a general Sports Massage and then will enjoy the benefits of receiving one in return.

SPORTS INJURIES - This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of how sporting injuries can occur, and will also cover the assessment, analysis, treatment and management of such injuries.  The course will also investigate the principles behind the rehabilitation of sports injuries.

 

This program will cover: Contra-indications to treatment and the relevant referrals plus basic principles of treatment, sport injuries to lower & upper limbs, and also to the back, head & neck.
